Further congratulations to Paul Larsen and all the Vestas SailRocket 2 team on becoming the outright world speed sailing record holders in the 500 metre challenge with a ratified peak speed of 65.45 knots (75.32 mph, 121.21kph). Their record in the 1 nautical mile class was ratified earlier at 55.32 knots (63.66 mph, 102.45kph).
